Literature Text

When you saw the south,
You got excited.
Hanging from corners,
To be delighted,
And I'm from the place you could call home,
There when you're feeling alone.
Calling to see if you're home yet,
And to let you know I didn't forget.

There's a word to explain the feeling I'm having,
But you could explain it better,
But we could always be together,
But I couldn't explain this feeling I'm having.

When you saw the sea,
You fell asleep,
Singing songs to stay awake,
But I fell asleep,
You could always have that affect on me,
You could always remember to leave,
And come back in the same year,
Never thought you'd stay here...

There's a word to explain the feeling I'm having,
But you could explain it better,
But we could always be together,
But I couldn't explain this feeling I'm having.

You could never have forgotten me,
You could never have gotten to leave.
If it wasn't for me.
Meh, this is by far not my best... but not my worst either...

It just means a lot to me, and I'd like to share it with you. :)
